Armie Hammer to Star as Dashing Prince Charming in "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White"

And more "Snow White" news, this time, "The Social Network's" Armie Hammer has signed to star as Prince Andrew Alcott in director Tarsem Singh's "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White" from Relativity Media.

This Snow White project is one of the three films that will arrive in theaters over the next two years. There's Universal's "Snow White and the Hutsman," and Disney's "Snow and the Seven."

Hammer joins Julia Roberts who is set to star as the Evil Queen. As for the Snow White role? Deadline is reporting that "Atonement's" Saoirse Ronan is in talks to star but it's not official yet. But with filming scheduled for May, they better find their beautiful sleeping protagonist very soon!

This Snow White will apparently have a comedy and adventure twist. According to Relativity, "After her evil stepmother (Roberts) kills her father and destroys her kingdom, Snow White bands together with a gang of seven quarrelsome dwarfs to reclaim what is rightly hers."

The studio is planning to release "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White" on June 29, 2012.

Speaking of Ronan, I think she will be perfect as Sleeping Beauty. She is an absolute delight as Hanna in the upcoming Focus Features movie! I love her in the film, and I will post my interview with the actress for "Hanna" very soon!

Viggo Mortensen Saying Goodbye to "Snow White and the Huntsman?"

Once upon a time, Viggo Mortensen was in talks to star as the titular Hunstman in Universal's "Snow White and the Huntsman" project. But now, the Hollywood Reporter is saying those talks are done, at least for now.

But Universal must act soon because there are many Snow White projects in active development. Rupert Sanders is still attached to direct, with Kristen Stewart set to star as Snow White and Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen.

Many insiders were saying that Mortensen demanded $8 million plus gross participation to star in the film which Universal balked at allowing the actor to flirt with starring as the villain Zod in the Superman reboot with Zack Snyder directing and Christopher Nolan producing.

The latest news about the Mortensen deal is that Universal is moving on -- yet, it's still unclear whether it's just a negotiating tactic or for reals yo :happy

Mortensen would have been great as Snow White's guide, her own Dumbledore if you may. In this planned version, Snow White is on the run from the Evil Queen until the Huntsman takes her under his wings and teaches her how to fight for her life.

Abbie Cornish and Emily Browning Interview for "Sucker Punch!"

I was blessed with meeting the double-whammy of hotness, Abbie Cornish (Sweet Pea) and Emily Browning (Babydoll). I met Abbie once for “Elizabeth: The Golden Age” and she is as sweet now as she was back then.

And after watching “Sucker Punch,” I was so excited to meet Emily, and just like her character, she’s a living, breathing Babydoll!
In this interview, we talked about:

*** Their interest in making the movie
*** The audition process
*** Which part were they interested in playing first?
*** Emily’s singing in the movie
*** Emily’s tattoo – Carla Gugino inspired her!
