Simon Pegg and Nick Frost Interview for "Paul!"

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have teamed up for the intergalactic adventure "Paul." The actors play English comic book nerds who experience a close encounter with the third kind when they meet Paul, the resident alien of Area 51 who wants to go back home.

In this interview we talked about what attracted them to making the movie, and how they approached Seth Rogen, the voice of Paul, to work on the film. Rogen is the heart of the movie and may have given the best performance of his career!

From "Jackass" to "Jocks" -- Jeff Tremaine to Make His Narative Feature Debut!

Jeff Tremaine, the guy who gave us the "Jackass" franchise, is about to ditch his merry pranksters, at least for now, to make his narrative debut with the comedy "Revenge of the Jocks!"

Warner Bros. is producing the film which asks the question -- what if nerds rule the world? In the center of the movie are three high school jocks, who as grown men, must face the fact that the geeks they used to torment in the past are now running the show.

According to the Hollwyood Reporter, Rami and Etan Cohen wrote the original script, but it's being rewritten by "I Heart Huckabees'" Jeff Baena. Tremaine was such a sweetheart in person (check out my interview with him for "Jackass 3D") but I'm not quite sure if he can direct a narrative film. But hey, I'm curious to see the final product!

Drew Barrymore Teaches Us "How to be Single!"

Drew Barrymore, after helming the roller derby flick "Whip It," is returning to the director's chair for "How to be Single" according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Based on the novel of the same name by Liz Tuccillo, the film is in the vein of "He's Just Not That Into You" and "Valentine's Day" -- multi-character, multi-story films. "How to be Single" explores the ups and downs of love of a group of New Yorkers over the course of ten years.

No director or cast announced yet but the script is written by Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn.

Johnny Knoxville is NOT Starring in the Farrelly Brothers' "Three Stooges"

Man, this whole "Three Stooges" film has more twists and turns than Curly's shuffle. The good thing is, the Farrelly brothers are still attached to the project, but that's it.

Previously, Sean Penn, Jim Carrey, and Benicio Del Toro were set to play the Three Stooges, but they've all left production.

Recently, Variety reported that the Farrellys were interested in giving Johnny Knoxville the role of Moe and they were just waiting for the actor to accept the part.

Now, The Hollywood Reporter is saying that's not the case according to the insiders close to the film. Sure, Knoxville has expressed interest but there were no negotiations between 20th Century Fox and the actor. In short, "an offer to join the film was never made."

When I met the Farrellys for "Hall Pass," they did give us some hints on what the "Three Stooges" would be about. Want to hear more nyuk nyuk nyuk about the film? Click here to watch my interview with the directors.
