Amy Adams IS Lois Lane!

From a banished princess in "Enchanted" to a tough-as-nails reporter, Amy Adams is set to play Lois Lane in Warner Bros. Pictures' revival of "Superman" according to Hero Complex.

The star received the news from director Zack Snyder who called her from Paris where he was promoting his new film "Sucker Punch."

The director exclusively told Hero Complex that “There was a big, giant search for Lois. For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it.”

Adams will join Henry Cavill who is set to play Clark Kent and Superman. Kevin Costner and Diane Lane are also attached to star as the Kents, the adoptive parents of the Man of Steel.

I'm a big fan of Adams, and I believe she will make a great Lois Lane in this Christopher Nolan-produced reboot. Other actresses who starred as the journalist in previous "Superman" incarnations were Noel Neill (Saturday movie serials 1948-1950), Phyllis Coates ("Superman and the Mole Men 1951 opposite George Reeves), Margot Kidder (Christopher Reeve versions of the 1970s and 1980s), and most recently, Kate Bosworth in the 2006 Bryan Singer-directed film "Superman Returns' starring Brandon Routh.

"Three Stooges" Casting Shuffle! Will Sasso Confirmed as Curly!

"MadTV's" Will Sasso is confirmed to star as Curly in Bobby and Peter Farrelly's casting-drama-filled project "The Three Stooges." With Sasso entering the "Stooges" project, once left vacant by the likes of Sean Penn, Jim Carrey, and Benicio Del Toro, the film is getting closer and closer to reality.

(Check out my interview with the Farrelly brothers for "Hall Pass" where they talked about "Three Stooges" right here)

As for the other Stooges? Deadline is saying that Hank Azaria is the front-runner to play Moe. Great choice don't you think?

But I'm still scratching my head to the other rumored front-runner -- James Marsden as the simple-minded Larry! Sure, he was funny in "Enchanted," but his dashing good looks could be detrimental. Both Sasso and Azaria could pass as their "Three Stooges" counterpart, but can you really imagine Marsden as Larry?

The Farrellys claimed that they are not doing a biopic of the Three Stooges but more along the line of their half-hour shorts. So this film will be a collection of three 30-minute films involving the antics of the "Three Stooges," much like the good, old days.

Armie Hammer to Star as Dashing Prince Charming in "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White"

And more "Snow White" news, this time, "The Social Network's" Armie Hammer has signed to star as Prince Andrew Alcott in director Tarsem Singh's "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White" from Relativity Media.

This Snow White project is one of the three films that will arrive in theaters over the next two years. There's Universal's "Snow White and the Hutsman," and Disney's "Snow and the Seven."

Hammer joins Julia Roberts who is set to star as the Evil Queen. As for the Snow White role? Deadline is reporting that "Atonement's" Saoirse Ronan is in talks to star but it's not official yet. But with filming scheduled for May, they better find their beautiful sleeping protagonist very soon!

This Snow White will apparently have a comedy and adventure twist. According to Relativity, "After her evil stepmother (Roberts) kills her father and destroys her kingdom, Snow White bands together with a gang of seven quarrelsome dwarfs to reclaim what is rightly hers."

The studio is planning to release "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White" on June 29, 2012.

Speaking of Ronan, I think she will be perfect as Sleeping Beauty. She is an absolute delight as Hanna in the upcoming Focus Features movie! I love her in the film, and I will post my interview with the actress for "Hanna" very soon!
